“First of all, I want to thank Cristina and the whole InterCoast Colleges/Orange staffing for all the help, preparation and training. After a two month trial of working, I finally got the job offer, and it's a pretty good offer too! Much more than I expected, salary with health benefits and everything. I wouldn't have gotten this job without taking the Multimedia Specialist Program at InterCoast Colleges/Orange. By the way, my new job title is Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer with Total Cost Involved Engineering, Inc.
It's been educational, challenging and a lot of fun!”

“I’m now being considered for my own counselor’s position when we open a new branch. Without the help and overwhelmingly positive reinforcement I received while at Intercoast, I don’t think I’d be where I am today and have the ability to take care of myself and my mother.”

I would just like to say that the staff at this college go above and beyond for the students. I would like to name four ; Sandra Pulido director of student affairs,Judy Redman Dean, Mr John White, the best teacher I have ever had, he taught me how to write stuff people can understand, and by first and by far the best, Ms Julia Smith,Admissions Director, who gave me the courage to enroll and got me to believe I could do this program, And I can, I am getting ready to start my externship, and now we can see just how much I want this. Thank You for all the help and guidance along the way . And Julia I'll see you when I come to walk across to accept my degree, I may be 54 but this is the start of my life.

Been doing online classes since March. I've had a great experience. The staff, Dean, student rep has been awesome. I emailed the Dean once and she got back to me within the hour! At 36 I was scared to go back to school but ICC has been amazing and have helped my confidence and self esteem!

Thank you for being so concerned. That shows how Intercoast makes a difference than other schools of nursing. They make a follow up after graduation. What a love for their students. That is what nursing is all about. Caring and advocating for your patients. Its not only learning but goes far beyond. That is what the instructors taught during clinicals. I think the instructors for their hard work for students. God bless Intercoast. God bless.

I'm so grateful to have had such an awesome professor! After years out of school with limited education, I sat in class feeling disappointed and discouraged because i just couldn't grasp anything my first professor was teaching. When Ms. Ruth Masterson came into my AOD class, she explained everything in such detail and had patience to go over the lessons as many times we needed. Intercoast College couldn't of made a better choice. Ms. Ruth encouraged me so much that i got straight A's.. She is definitely one of very few role models i look up to. I would love to have her as my mentor!

I chose to attend InterCoast Career Institute for many reasons. Initially, I chose this school due to its location and proximity to my home. I believe since I started school that the school has accommodated my needs for a different learning style as a hands on learner. I feel the school has provided me with the required tools to become a valued LPN when working in the field. Throughout my experience here at ICC I have been excelling in my time here. I would recommend this school to my friends or family in the future.

I chose to attend InterCoast because I was placed on a 5 year wait list at the University of Maine in Augusta and all the other universities I tried to transfer to were going to have me retake classes or wait one to two years. I did not want to retake classes or take a year off or more and InterCoast was the quickest way to become a nurse without a wait. Becoming an LPN also allows the option to take bridge courses to upgrade and get experience so that I can get the RN job I want...

I decided to attend this school of nursing because I wanted to become a nurse and heard there wasn't a waiting list in order to follow my dream in progressing in the medical field. This program has good hands on opportunities in the clinical setting to learn...I feel that I have learned more than I thought I could especially attending this very condensed and faced paced program. The instructors try to the best of their ability to teach us in a way that is easy to learn and grasp the content material.

I chose to come to this school so I could start immediately and not be put on a waiting list. As far as preparation we take practice NCLEX tests each term online. We perform skills in skills lab, we have clinical sites where we can perform some nursing skills.

I chose to come to InterCoast after one year of being an LVA. I specifically chose InterCoast because there was no wait period to start. I wanted to start and finish quickly. I have been through quite a struggle, but I do feel I've learned and am continuing to learn everything I need to know to become a successful LPN. I have also noticed significant positive changes throughout the school system since I started, most significantly from when I transferred to Portland from the Kittery campus. The smaller class size has given me more of a chance to learn hands on tasks in the lab and the smaller class size has prepared me to perform well on tests because it's easier to ask questions.

When I went I had a blast with all my classmates in W. Covina campus. All the teachers were the greatest...miss you all.

It's funny because I came to this school with high expectations and they are still up there. Matter fact Mr. Harris is my first instructor and I have learned plenty from him. One thing, he does have motors now and from what I see he actually sets them up to make sure they work! Then gets the students to set them up after. These instructors are not here to hold your hand. We are all adults, if you want someone to hold your hand? There are other schools than ICC. Get where I am going with this. And when I go to Mr. Dino's class he will get the same respect. It's the students that have to change their mindset. This is a fast pace environment, get in where you fit in! No holding hands... when I leave this school I will be one step closer to my dreams. And for the young lady that change career paths for the better. Everything happens for a that it didn't go the way you wanted. To the instructors at the CARSON location, all of you are the best! And the Administration, the best.
