On-ground programs include Electrical Training, HVAC Technician, and Alcohol and Drug Counseling Studies, and additional certificate and degree programs are delivered online. Located off the freeway in a shopping center with access to restaurants and bus stops, the campus includes lab and lecture rooms, a computer lab, and dedicated Electrical and HVAC labs, and is centrally air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible. InterCoast Colleges has been accredited by ACCET since 1988 and is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Prepares students for certification with CCAPP, CAADE, and CADTP. Employment opportunities are limited to California. Not approved for certification in other states.
Provides the knowledge, skills, and attitude development needed to work in the treatment of alcohol and other drug dependency. Competency-based program meeting California certification standards. Credits transfer 100% to the AAS Degree in Substance Use Disorder Counseling.
