Disabilities Accommodations are adjustments, auxiliary aids and services provided to qualified individuals with a documented disability.
What the catalog says
The catalog states: “InterCoast is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for all persons with disabilities. Accommodations are provided on an individualized, as-needed basis, determined through appropriate documentation of need.”
“All students must meet all admissions requirements and have the ability to work in the field, based on the job duties for which the student is trained.”
“To request auxiliary aid or service, prospective students should contact the Campus President and provide supporting documentation as soon as practical.”
Who it applies to
InterCoast Colleges’ catalog states this under “DISABILITIES ACCOMMODATIONS” (p. 16).
“In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), InterCoast Colleges does not exclude handicapped individuals from participation in the programs offered by the college, solely by reason of the handicap.”
“A student is eligible for consideration for accommodations and/or auxiliary aids and services if the student has a documented disability…”
