What Are InterCoast Colleges' Forms of Academic Dishonesty?

Forms of Academic Dishonesty are the kinds of conduct an academic integrity policy names as offenses against academic honesty and defines so that students know what is prohibited.

What the catalog says

The catalog states: “There are several other kinds of actions that are considered offenses against the standards of academic honesty, and among these are plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, aiding and abetting, collusion and falsification and fabrication…”

On plagiarism: “Plagiarism is the adoption or reproduction of original creations of another author…”

“Misuse of AI is considered plagiarism and is subject to the institution’s Academic Integrity policy.”

On impersonation: “It is a breach of academic honesty to have someone else impersonate one’s self in class, in a test or examination…”
