Approvals are the authorizations an institution holds from a state agency or funding body to operate and to provide training.
What the catalog says
The catalog states: “InterCoast Colleges is a private institution that is approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.”
It adds: “That approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the CEC §94909(a)(2) and 5, CCR.”
The same section notes: “The Office of Student Assistance and Relief is available to support prospective students, current students, or past students of private postsecondary educational institutions…”
It also states: “The institution has no pending petition in bankruptcy, is not operating as a debtor in possession…”
Where it applies
InterCoast Colleges’ catalog states this under “APPROVALS” (p. 9).
On funding approvals: “InterCoast locations are approved for training through WIOA, VA, TRA, EDD, State and Private Vocational Rehabilitation.”
“Not all programs and funding programs indicated herein are approved at all locations.”
