Approvals are the authorizations a state agency or a funding body grants an educational institution to operate and to offer training under particular programs.
What the catalog says
The catalog states: “InterCoast Colleges is a private institution that is approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.”
“That approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the CEC §94909(a)(2) and 5, CCR.”
It adds: “The Office of Student Assistance and Relief is available to support prospective students, current students, or past students of private postsecondary educational institutions…”
Where it applies
InterCoast Colleges’ catalog states this under “APPROVALS” (pp. 8–9).
On funding and location, the catalog says: “InterCoast locations are approved for training through WIOA, VA, TRA, EDD, State and Private Vocational Rehabilitation.”
“Not all programs and funding programs indicated herein are approved at all locations.”
