What Is the Difference Between Residential and Commercial Electrical Wiring?

Residential and Commercial Electrical Wiring are two settings for electrical installation work: residential installations cover building plans, branch circuits and rough-in wiring, while commercial installations cover electronic theory, control systems, panelboards and switchgear.

In InterCoast Colleges’ Electrical Training Program, two courses cover these settings: ETP101 Residential Electrical Installations and ETP102 Commercial Electrical Installations.
