Medical Emergencies is a safety policy that tells students and staff what to do first when someone is injured or suddenly taken ill on school grounds.
What the catalog says
The catalog states: “If you or someone else is facing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1.”
If you detect smoke or a fire, call 9-1-1 immediately. Your worst enemy in a fire is time. Leave the building immediately once the alarm activates. Do not search for others within the building. If an earthquake strikes, take cover immediately under a sturdy object. Do not attempt an evacuation during the earthquake. Once the shaking stops, evacuate and remain prepared for aftershocks.
