Students work with various types of specialty systems including fire alarms, lighting protection systems, security alarms, voice, data, tv, signaling systems, fiber optic systems, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration, and heat tracing and freeze protection. They also learn about how NEC national and local codes apply to hazardous locations.
