Course Critiques are evaluations of instruction gathered by a school, in which those taking a course rate aspects of the teaching and the course itself.
What the catalog says
The catalog states: “Periodically, students are asked to evaluate various aspects of their education including the instructor’s methods in the classroom. The instructor being evaluated may receive a summary of any comments but will not have access to the individual student evaluations so that the student will feel comfortable sharing any comments.”
Where it applies
InterCoast Colleges’ catalog states this under “COURSE CRITIQUES” (p. 27).
It sits among the academic policies alongside homework, academic monitoring, the method of instruction and the grading scale, and applies across the school’s programs.
