Professional Readiness is a name for the non-technical “soft skills” — communication, teamwork, time management, problem solving — that people use in a workplace.

The catalog states: “Career readiness plays an important role for employers to know that the ICC graduate that they are hiring has the key skills and abilities to be successful on the job.”
“ICC certificate programs are designed to prepare graduates for gainful employment in their field of study.”
It continues: “To enhance the skills and knowledge provided in the core educational requirements InterCoast integrates a variety of “soft skills” training modules into the weekly curriculum.”
