Hybrid students are students who complete part of their coursework online and the rest in scheduled on-campus lab sessions.
What the catalog says
The catalog states: “Students enrolled in a Hybrid Learning Schedule must adhere to the Online Student Attendance Policy when completing the online sessions of their coursework.”
“The student must also adhere to the On-Campus attendance policy when attending lab sessions at the campus.”
Any tardy or leave early of more than 15 minutes on campus lab day(s) may result in a loss of professionalism points.
“Trades students are required to attend lab each week. Students who miss two or more lab sessions in a course (15 or more lab hours) do not meet the course completion requirements and will receive a failing grade for that course.”
Where it applies
InterCoast Colleges’ catalog states this under “HYBRID STUDENTS” (pp. 32–33).
These rules sit alongside excused absences, make-up work, and the attendance policy for online students across InterCoast Colleges’ programs.
